Your day begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and a scenic drive up into the lush Sacred Valley. The first stop is Pisac, where the terraced slopes and the archaeological complex offer sweeping views of the valley below. You’ll walk among the terraces and temples while your guide explains how the Incas shaped the land for agriculture and ceremony.

After exploring Pisac’s ruins, you’ll spend time at the lively Pisac Market, a wonderful place to find handwoven textiles, ceramics, and silverwork made by local artisans. This market is an ideal spot to meet local families, learn about traditional weaving techniques, and pick up authentic souvenirs while supporting community artisans.

Next, we head to the town of Urubamba for a relaxed buffet lunch featuring regional flavors. The valley’s microclimate produces a variety of crops, and your meal is a great chance to taste Andean ingredients prepared with contemporary touches. After lunch, the drive continues to Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town where original stone streets and houses remain in daily use.

At Ollantaytambo you’ll climb among terraces and plazas that once formed a major military and administrative center. The fortress walls demonstrate impressive Inca masonry and strategic design. On the way back to Cusco, we stop in Chinchero, known for its colonial church built on Inca foundations and for textile workshops where traditional dyeing and weaving techniques are still practiced. By evening you return to Cusco with a full picture of the Sacred Valley’s history, culture, and landscape.
